Civil War Extra Credit Research

For ten (10) EXTRA CREDIT points on the test, research and write a 5-paragraph essay about ONE new technology used in the Civil War.

Paragraph 1: Introduction: THESIS (main idea sentence)
Paragraph 2: Explanation of what it was like before the invention
Paragraph 3: Description of the new invention/technology
Paragraph 4: Analysis of how the technology/invention affected the war and American culture
Paragraph 5: Conclusion

Include at least two (2) sources.

ALTERNATE: Instead of writing a paper, you can create a Prezi, Powerpoint, model, or exhibit explaining the technology.  You must still include the information that would be in the paragraphs
